The Five Key Values...

Here at Infinity Youth Sports We Focus On Five Key Values Which Are:

  1. Integrity -  Doing the right things for the right reasons.
    • We believe:

We have a responsibility to our players, coaches, and parents to act with the utmost integrity personally and professionally.

    • We value:

We honor our commitments and will not compromise on ethics.  We will hold ourselves, our players, our coaches, and our parents to the highest degree of ethical behavior.

    • We behave:

We honor what we say and speak kindly and truthfully.  We recognize that we are human and can mistakes.  We will always have the courage to be accountable and do what we need to do to address issues that arise. We expect reciprocal behavior from our players, parents, and staff.

  2. Commitment - The willingness to give our time and energy wholeheartedly to coaching and managing.
    • We believe:

We have a responsibility to our players to devote our time to mentoring and being leaders.  We are dedicated to our league and its cause.

    • We value:

We honor the fact that our commitment inspires us to take positive action and overcome obstacles.

    • We behave:

We are strong in making our decisions and follow through on our commitments.  We do not back out of our commitments ever.  We decide to do “whatever it takes” ethically and we push ourselves until we “make it happen.”

  3. Relationships - The way in which we connect, behave, and deal with each other.
    • We believe:

We have a responsibility to connect with our players, coaches, and parents through the mutual love of the sport; to behave positively and treat others as want to be treated; and to engage the efforts and interests of all to reach our common goal of becoming the best version of ourselves.

    • We value:

We honor our relationships by establishing a foundation of trust with our players, coaches, and parents.  With trust, our relationships grow stronger and we can collectively work together to satisfy the goals of the program.

    • We behave:

We fully believe in treating each person with dignity and professionalism and we expect reciprocal behavior from our players, coaches, and parents.  We treat all coaches with respect.  We value the varied strengths that our coaches bring to the program.  We never put our own needs in front of our coaches just as our coaches and parents do not put their own needs in front of their players.

  4. Performance - The action of carrying out and successfully accomplishing your given task.
    • We believe:

We believe that in order to be at your best, you must demonstrate excellence in everything that you do.  We do not achieve by luck, but rather by being optimally prepared and undertaking every opportunity to improve ourselves.

    • We value:

We are committed to performing at our best capacity both on and off the field.

    • We behave:

We win with humility and vow to do even better the next time, always demonstrating our commitment to excellence. We are accountable for all of our actions and take ownership of our thoughts, feelings, words, and actions.  We recognize that we need to be flexible in achieving our goals as players, coaches, and parents so that we can move forward in progress rather than being stuck in negativity.

  5. Loyalty - The state of strong support and allegiance.
    • We believe:

We believe that in order to truly succeed, you must develop loyalty to your cause, your sport, your team, and your league.  We succeed by not by wavering in our loyalty but by upholding the vision of our leaders so that we will know how to become leaders in our own right.

    • We value:

We stay strong, committed, and loyal during all times: both good and not so good.

    • We behave:

We do not quit. We push on and finish that which we have started and commit to.  We do not run in the face of competition. Nor do we do not let ourselves be lured by weak promises, weak leaders, and those serving their own ego. We do not lower ourselves to participate in gossip intended to hurt other leaders or support those who are trying to tear down that which has taken time and commitment to build. We recognize that you must work for what you want; nothing is handed to you. As true athletes, we stand strong and united in our quest to excel;  for excellence is a habit.
