Players ages shall be 3-5 for tball and 6-7 or coach pitch
The minimum number of players on a team are 10, the maximum allowed is 15. Note: According to Tball USA, more than 15 players on the field or batting is not advised.
GAME FIELD SPECIFICATIONS
Distance between bases is 50 feet.
A real or imaginary playing line is between the first base and third base or an arc of 40 feet from the home plate.
GAME DAY SPECIFICATIONS
Every player gets to bat and plays in the field.
The ball is hit off the tee; there is no pitching.*
There are no walks or strikeouts.
The ball must travel at least 10 feet or it is a foul.
No fielder may cross the playing line until the ball is hit.
No stealing. Players stay on base until ball is hit.
An inning is over when all players have batted once.
A standard game is 4 innings; however there is a drop dead time limit of 50 minutes.
Scores are not kept.
GAME EQUIPMENT SPECIFICATIONS
Safety helmets should be worn.
Bats: 25"/26" long, 2 1/4" diameter, max weight 17-20 ounces.
Ball: 9" to 9 1/2" around, 4-5 ounces. Ball should also be softer than a standard baseball and is recommended to have a molded core or sponge rubber center.
Gloves: 12" long, max.
Tees: adjustable, flexible tube on a moveable base.
Athletic footwear only may be worn on field and at practice. No flip-flops, crocs, or sandals of any sort will be allowed on the field.
COACH PITCH SPECIFICATIONS
Only coaches are allowed to throw or pitch the ball to a player.
Under-hand pitches may thrown withan arc in order to reduce speed.
Over-hand pitches may be thrown from one knee on ground in order to put the pitcher at the same level as the batter.
Maximum number of pitches allowed is 4; after the 4th pitch the batter may have 2 attempts at hitting the ball from a T.
